If the fish won?t come to the lodge, take the lodge to the fish! - Our boats act as floating lodges as well as fishing platforms. Anchoring overnight in protected coves near the fishing grounds provides you more fishing time and less travel.

We offer deep sea fishing for halibut, rock fish, ling cod and salmon sharks, salt and freshwater fishing for salmon, dolly varden and cutthroat trout.

Services include lodging on our boats, home cooked meals, guided fishing, deep sea and spinning tackle, lures, bait, ice, fish cleaning and filleting. Vacuum packing and shipping services are available in Whittier.

We are based in Whittier, 60 road miles south of Anchorage and offer fishing throughout Prince William Sound. Prince William Sounds protected waters make boating and fishing pleasant most of the time - sea sickness is rare on our boats. Evenings are spent anchored in protected coves - you often don't know you are on a boat

We accommodate up to 6 guests per boat. Parties of 2-3 can charter exclusively or combine with another party. Parties of 4-6 have the boat exclusively.

David Pinquoch, owner of Alaska Good Time Charters LLC is a 48+ year Alaska resident and is often the Captain on the Good Times. Both boats are normally crewed with at least one long time Alaskan resident with years of fishing experience in Prince William Sound. Experience often makes the difference between a good trip and great trip. We offer two boat options with different accommodations, trip lengths and rates - Good Times, our luxury 50' boat, offers mostly 4-6 day trips. 40' Fool's Gold provides a less costly, less luxurious option and offers 2-5 day trips. Both boats are crewed by a Captain and deckhand.

50 ' M/V Good Times was designed and built as a live-aboard yacht. It offers 3 private guest cabins that sleep 2 each, 2 heads with walk in showers, a large salon to relax in, a large galley for great meals, and a covered cockpit (outside deck) for those less than perfect days. The Good Times has a full size refrigerator, freezer, clothes dryer and Jennaire oven.

40' M/V Fool's Gold was designed and built as a day trip fishing charter boat. She has great walk around decks, the speed to make short trips productive and is large enough to handle most days in Prince William Sound comfortably. Extensive remodeling allows us to conduct multiday trips as well as day trips. Amenities don't match those of the Good Times, but work well for families or friends who don't need the privacy and comfort of the Good Times. Fool's Gold is well suited for 4 adults or families up to 6, but we can accommodate 6 adults plus crew.

Combination Fishing and Sightseeing Charters - A great way to explore Alaska is to combine sightseeing and fishing into one adventure. Experience glaciers up close, hike in a rain forest, watch whales, sea otters, sea lions, seals, eagles, bears, salmon swimming up waterfalls and porpoises riding the bow wake of our yacht. Spend leisure time catching salmon, halibut fishing, catching shrimp for dinner, and then take a walk on a beach or explore the shoreline from inflatable boats or kayaks - Outstanding family adventure!

Good Times and Fool's Gold Multiday Deposit/Reservation Policy

Single party bookings require a deposit of $3000 or full payment if less than $3000. Deposits are 95% refundable up to 30 days from receipt of deposit. Deposits become non-refundable 31 days from receipt of deposit. Balance is due 60 days before departure and is non-refundable. Split party bookings (two or more parties) require full payment to confirm reservations and payments are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation Alaska Good Time Charters LLC will attempt to book a replacement party and if successful, refund a portion of your payment.

Fool's Gold Day Trip Deposit/Refund Policy

Full payment required to confirm reservations. Payments are 95% refundable up to 10 days before departure. 9 days from departure payments become non-refundable. We accept Visa, MC and traveler checks. Personal and company checks accepted if received 10 or more days before departure.

Alcohol is permitted but not provided.

Alaska Good Time Charters LLC operates with US Forest Service and Alaska State Park permits.
