ALASKA FISHING CHARTERS
4-6 Day Fishing Adventures “If the fish won’t come to the lodge, take the lodge to the fish.” Alaska Good Time Charters LLC specializes in custom 4-6 day guided fishing adventures. Choose an all fishing adventure or combine fishing with sightseeing or unguided hunting. Our Alaska fishing charters are live–aboard, our yacht acts as our floating mobile lodge. This allows us to access the best Alaska fishing in Prince William Sound. We are not limited each day by distance from port or distance from a fishing lodge and offer more time to fish. Alaska fishing options include deep sea fishing for Alaska halibut, rock fish, ling cod and salmon sharks. Salt and fresh water fishing offered for Alaska salmon, dolly varden and cutthroat trout. More times than not, we limit out when fishing for salmon. We commonly throw back halibut because our guests have all they want to bring home. Fishing takes place on our 50’ yacht, from beaches and in freshwater streams. Prince William Sound is protected from the Gulf of Alaska and usually provides calm water for Alaska fishing. Nights are spent anchored in protected coves which at times offer more fishing opportunities. Services include lodging aboard our yacht, home cooked meals, guided fishing, deep sea and spinning tackle, lures, bait, ice, fish cleaning and filleting. Fly fishermen will need to provide their own equipment and everyone is invited to bring their lucky lure. We are based at the port of Whittier, 60 miles south of Anchorage and are road accessible. We can accommodate up to 6 fishermen. Parties larger than 6 can be accommodated using two boats. Parties of 2-3 can charter the boat exclusively or be combined with another party. Prince William Sound Alaska Prince William Sound offers world class fishing opportunities in protected waters, breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. Although close to Anchorage, none of the locations we fish are road accessible which limits the number of fishermen. More times than not, we are the only boat anchored in a cove or bay, the only people fishing in a stream, cove or passage. Prince William Sound provides an unequaled fishing experience. Our Boat, M/V Good Times – Good Times was designed and built as a live-aboard yacht. It offers 3 private guest cabins that sleep 2 each, 2 heads with walk-in showers, a large salon to relax in, a large galley for delicious meals and a covered cockpit (outside deck) for those less than perfect days. She has a full size refrigerator, freezer, clothes dryer and Jennaire oven. M/V Good Times is comfortable for parties of 6, she’s very seaworthy and dependable – it’s the right tool for the job. Experience matters! David Pinquoch, member of Alaska Good Time Charters LLC, is Captain, fishing guide and host on most charters. David is a 45 year Alaska resident, an avid fisherman and has fished Prince William Sound more than 23 years. A fishing guide experienced in Prince William Sound will make a difference in your fishing success. Our Alaska Fishing Season June 10th to September 10th is traditionally the best time to fish for salmon and halibut on the same trip. Ling cod season opens July 1st. May and early June can provide excellent fishing, although catching is less consistent. Early season charters work great combined with hunting or sightseeing. Alaska fish we target include halibut, coho (silver) salmon, sockeye(red) salmon, chum salmon, pink salmon, salmon sharks, yellow eye rock fish, black rock fish, ling cod, dolly varden and cutthroat trout. We commonly catch several other species while targeting the bottom fish listed here. We can customize your trip to target specific species or specific methods of fishing or let the Captain take you to the best fishing during the time you join us. Rates are per person and include meals, lodging aboard our yacht, fishing tackle, bait, ice, fish cleaning and filleting, Whittier sales tax, US Forest Service and Alaska State Parks fees. Additional fuel surcharge applied if diesel exceeds $3. per gallon. Rates are based on exclusive charters For example, if you are a party of 4-5, you will have the boat exclusively. No other fisherman will be booked with you. Parties of 2-3 can book the boat exclusively or request to share the boat with another party. Boarding time for 4 day/3 night and 5 day/4 nights is 8-10 a.m. Boarding time for 4 day/4 night, 5day/5 night and 5day/6 nights is 6 p.m. Disembark at 4-6 p.m. Our 5 day/6 night trip starts 6 pm Sunday and ends 10 am Saturday providing 5 full days of fishing. 6 pm departures allow us to get you on or near the fishing grounds for a full day of fishing the next day and may be convenient for your itinerary. Day Trip Salmon Fishing Charters Salmon fishing aboard our 40’ boat, “Fool’s Gold.” Fool’s Gold offers wide walkaround decks perfect for fishing, heated interior, head, and comfortable seating. We target chum salmon from June 10th to early July and silver and pink salmon from mid July to August 22nd. Fishing is offered weekdays only except when the whole boat is booked. We carry up to 18 passengers although we limit fisherman to no more than 12 at a time. Tax included. ½ Day Glacier Tour ½ Day Salmon Fishing Morning begins with a visit to Blackstone Bay to view tidewater and land based glaciers, waterfalls and wildlife. Spend the afternoon pursuing salmon. Weekdays only unless the whole boat is booked.
