Yes. We highly recommend getting your license in advance. Getting your license in Whittier will delay your trip, costing you valuable fishing time. Licenses can be obtained in Anchorage at Walmart stores or purchased online at www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/license Allow at least one week for your license to arrive by mail when purchasing online.
