How far are you from Anchorage?

Whittier is approximately 60 road miles from Anchorage. Average drive time is just over 1 hour. We recommend giving yourself 1.5 hours. To get into Whittier you must go through a one way toll tunnel($12) Entrance times during SUMMER months are on the half hour beginning at 5:30 am until 10:30 pm. Departing times are on the hour beginning at 6 am until 11 pm.
