Book A Trip/ Reservation Policy
Multi –day Charters - Booking a trip is only a telephone call or e-mail away. We
will reserve the dates you request for 7 days to give you time to confirm
airline tickets and send a deposit. Reservations are confirmed when we receive
your deposit.
Day Trip Charters – Reservations are confirmed when deposit is received.
Payment can be made by personal or company check, Visa or Mastercard. DO NOT
SEND credit card numbers by e-mail.
Reservation Policy
Multi-day charters – Reservations made more than 60 days in advance require
a deposit of $1000 for charters up to 3 days, $2000 for charters of 4-7 days. Balance
is due 60 days from departure. Reservations made with 60 days of departure require
full payment at booking. Single party
deposits are 95% refundable if cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to
scheduled departure. Refunds for cancellations made 60 days or closer to
scheduled departure are refunded or forfeited at the discretion of Alaska Good
Time Charters. Multi-party deposits are non-refundable unless all parties cancel
more than 60 days prior to scheduled departure. A multi-party exists when two or
more parties or individuals book together to meet the minimum price. In the
event that Alaska Good Time Charters, LLC cancels a charter, clients will receive
100% funds within 30 days of cancellation.
Deposits for package tours may require deposits greater than listed above and
may have more restrictive refund policies.
Day Trip Charters – Reservations booked with Alaska Good Time Charters, LLC for other
charter companies require a deposit of 25% with the balance due 10 days prior to
departure. Booking within 10 days of departure requires full payment.
Refunds will be paid for cancellations made more than 10 days prior to
departure. No refunds are made for cancellations made 10 days or less from the
departure date UNLESS that day is rebooked with another party. A 5%
administrative fee is charged on most refunds.
In the event the charter company cancels, clients will have the option of
re-booking or receiving full refunds. No compensation will be paid for travel to
or from Whittier or other costs associated with the charter.
