2-7 Day Custom Live-aboard Tours - Our Specialty!!!!

Join David, 42 year Alaska resident, captain and host aboard Good Times for the adventure of a lifetime in spectacular Prince William Sound. With 20 years experience, he knows when and where to go to capture the best of Prince William Sound. Choose which activities you want to experience and we’ll customize a trip for you or tell us when you’ll be visiting and we’ll customize a trip based on the highlights of the season. Glacier viewing, whale watching, fishing, hiking, beach combing, berry picking, bear viewing, photography, bird watching, kayaking and shrimping are all options. We also offer the Good Times Cruise, (see below), which captures more of Prince William Sound in 3 days than any tour we’ve seen. Adding an extra day for fishing makes a great sightseeing/fishing combo trip.

Book an exclusive charter for your party or share the boat with another party. We host a maximum of 6 guests in 3 cabins that sleep 2 each. Larger parties can be accommodated using additional yachts. Good Times has two heads (toilets), 2 showers, a large salon for evening relaxation, a pilot house with large bench seat for viewing and a large covered cockpit for fishing.

Rates are per person. Parties of 2-3 can share the boat with another party or charter. Rates include meals, lodging, activities, Whittier tax and US Forest Service user fees. 2005

3 Day/2 Night Good Times Cruise

This tour packs more variety into 3 days than any tour we've seen! Adding a 4th day is a great option to allow for more fishing time.

Day One - Enjoy a scenic cruise to Harriman Fiord and get face-to-face with 4 tidewater glaciers.  Seals, sea otters and eagles abound in this magnificent fiord.  An evening cruise through narrow Esther Passage brings us to our anchorage for the night.  While anchored, black bear are often seen searching nearby streams for a meal.

Day Two -  Cruise into the heart of Prince William Sound searching for humpback and orca whales that feed in the area.  Learn about the family structure of whales and if conditions are right, listen to them "sing" with the aid of a hydrophone.  Along the way visit a puffin rookery, a sea lion haul out, and if you like, try your luck catching a fish for dinner.

Day Three -   Our itinerary on the third day often changes. If you'd like to do more fishing we can do that, if you'd like to go for a hike, that's also a great option. Maybe you want to visit the largest salmon hatchery in the world or watch salmon try to swim up a waterfall to their spawning grounds. Whales, porpoise, bear, deer,and sea otters are often present along our return route to Whittier.

Denali / Cruise Package Tours

Denali National Park and Prince William Sound - the best of coastal and interior Alaska. Combine a custom tour, the Good Times Cruise, or any other tour we offer with a 4 day Denali National Park Tour to create an outstanding tour of south-central Alaska.

Day One - All aboard the ALASKA RAILROAD for your train ride to Denali National Park. That evening choose a scenic or whitewater RAFTING TRIP down the Nenana River. Overnight at Denali Park.

Day Two - Travel 95 miles into Denali National Park. Watch for MOOSE, CARIBOU, SHEEP, BROWN BEAR and of course, magnificent MT. MCKINLEY.

Day Three - Depart Denali National Parks main entrance and return part of the way to Anchorage. You'll disembark at the Denali Princess Lodge and then be taken to the quaint town of Talkeetna for a RIVER BOAT TOUR on the Susitna River. Overnight at the Princess Lodge.

Day Four - Depart Denali Princess Lodge for your 3.5 hour motor coach ride to Anchorage The afternoon is available to EXPLORE ANCHORAGE on your own. After spending your final night in Anchorage transportation will be provided to the airport ending your BEST OF ALASKA TOUR.

Rate for 4 day tour and pre and post tour hotel accommodations(3 nights) is approximately $1149 per person.

Day Trip Blackstone Glacier Tour - 4 hours

Spectacular waterfalls, cliff hanging glaciers, tidewater glaciers, marine wildlife and the natural beauty of Prince William Sound await you. This tour takes the same route of larger vessels with the benefit of 6 passengers or less. Aboard Swee' Pea you'll spend less time getting there and have the same amount of time at the glaciers.

If you are a party of less than 4, if we can't book you with another party, we can put book you on a larger vessel that offers a 6 hour tour with visits to Harriman Fiord and Esther Hatchery.
